Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about drone volumetric surveys, accuracy, pricing, and implementation.

Frequently Asked Questions

How accurate are drone volumetric surveys?

Our surveys achieve ±2% accuracy when properly executed with ground control points. This is significantly better than the 8-15% error rates typical of manual measurement methods.

How long does a survey take?

Flight time depends on site size, but most operations can be surveyed in 30-60 minutes. Processing and report delivery typically takes 24-48 hours.

Do I need to stop operations during the survey?

No. Drone surveys are non-intrusive and don't require shutting down production. We work around your schedule and active equipment.

What do I receive in the report?

Each report includes individual stockpile volumes, material values (based on your pricing), comparison to previous surveys, and trend analysis. PDF maps and orthomosaic images are also included.

How often should I survey?

Monthly surveys provide the best visibility for inventory control and scale calibration. Quarterly surveys are suitable for operations with lower volume turnover.

Is the drone certified and insured?

Yes. Our pilots are FAA Part 107 certified and we carry comprehensive liability insurance. We can provide certificates of insurance upon request.

Can you integrate with our existing systems?

Our dashboard provides all the data you need. For enterprise integrations, we offer API access and can work with your IT team on custom solutions.
